Voice
Addressing Muscle Tension Dysphonia, Vocal Cord Dysfunction, Vocal Cord Paralysis, Quiet/soft voice (hypophonia), Hoarse voice (dysphonia), gender affirming voice therapy and other voice impairments through exercises and vocal hygiene. Certified SPEAK OUT® Provider and LSVT Provider.
Swallowing
Treating individuals who are experiencing difficulty chewing, coughing, throat clearing, or discomfort while eating/drinking. *It is my personal goal to have the client consuming the foods and liquids they prefer with use of exercise and strategies rather than altering a diet, unless medically safest.
Memory
Targeting short term of new, recent or immediate information, long term recall through exercises and use of strategies.
Executive Function
Improving attention/concentration, reasoning, thought organization, sequencing and planning abilities.
Speech
Using exercises and strategies in order to increase speech clarity while communicating in phrases, sentences, and conversational exchanges.
Language
Providing training and instruction of communication and comprehension whether you are experiencing word finding difficulties or experiencing aphasia from a Stroke/Brain Injury.

Meghan Powers
My name is Meghan Powers, I have been a Speech Language Pathologist over 15 years. I have worked with a variety of patient populations including trach/vent , voice disorders, dementia, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, ALS, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, mental health disorders and people who have been/are unhoused.
Throughout my time as an SLP, I have enjoyed working with adults to improve their voice, instruct strategies and exercises for memory, increase critical thinking abilities, reduce difficulty with swallowing, and enhance word finding skills through functional everyday tasks. I will be provided Speech therapy in Aurora, CO and the surrounding areas.

Hello! My name is Jada and I have been a speech-language pathologist for 7 years. I have worked across a variety of settings including schools, private practice, skilled nursing facilities, and home health.
I enjoy working with individuals to support their ability to effectively communicate, engage in therapeutic exercises to promote safe swallowing, and implementing strategies that encourage functional participation in everyday activities.
In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, testing my knowledge at trivia, attending sporting events, and playing video games.

I am currently accepting private pay Medicare, Medicaid, Cigna and United HealthCare. Unfortunately BCBS, Aetna and Humana have stated they will not be accepting me as a provider at this time. However, you can pay privately and I am able to provide you with superbills and a professionally written letter stating why you should be reimbursed for services. This is not a guarentee that you will be reimbursed but I will advocate on your behalf as to why you should be.

I am currently SPEAK OUT! ® AND LSVT certified (voice therapy for people with Parkinson’s Disease) in additional to Vital Stim certified. I am FEES trained however do not yet have my own scope for Swallow studies.
While I enjoy working with many areas of the profession I truly enjoy working with individuals and their caregivers with progressive disorders including Parkinson’s disease (PD), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Dementia, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and Huntington’s Disease.
